WWF Zimbabwe seeks to recruit a proficient, energetic and motivated individual to take up this exciting learning opportunity based at our Harare office.

Contract duration – three months

The Role**:**

The student will support delivery of WWF Zimbabwe’s Conservation Strategy through effective maintenance of financial and accounting records. **

Main Responsibilities:

A. Financial Accounting & Reporting

· Scanning and filing of finance documents e.g. vouchers, bank transfers, agreements etc. as requested, including uploading of documents on the shared folder

· Maintaining an efficient filing system of all accounting and financial records, both soft and hard copies

· Support the WWF Zimbabwe Internal Audit process through document extraction and any requested facilitation

· Support the WWF Zimbabwe institutional audit for FY2022 through document extraction and any requested facilitation

· Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the supervisor

B. Conservation Business

· Supports the department and other departments in activities determined by Finance Manager to be valuable for learning purposes.

Qualifications and experience

Student studying business/accounting degree with work attachment requirement; very strong IT appreciation as well as knowledge of accounting software

Required Skills and Competencies

A team player with ability to work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels. Strong oral and written communication skills in English; and identifies and aligns with the core values of the WWF organization: Courage, Integrity, Respect & Collaboration.
