Major Responsibilities
The Wildlife Programme Law Enforcement Support Coordinator will
· Implement, and monitor progress of WWF's anti-poaching and wildlife crime prevention support work
· Support law enforcement agencies to coordinate patrol planning, patrol operations analysis, and ensuring critical information is shared with appropriate agencies.
· Support law enforcement agencies in stopping wildlife trafficking
· Support relevant agencies for anti-poaching information collection mechanisms
Required Qualifications
· Any Bachelor's or Master's degree (law enforcement or wildlife conservation-related disciplines preferable)
· Substantial experience in multi-agency coordination and operations (prior experience in wildlife conservation and law enforcement an advantage but not essential)
Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
· Demonstration of strong motivation for conservation of Myanmar's wildlife
· Strong understanding of law enforcement, criminal justice, and existing conservation, wildlife and forest laws of Myanmar
· Good coordination and management skills
· A driver's license and ability to drive a pick-up truck and a motorcycle is preferable but not mandatory
· Excellent written and spoken Myanmar language skills, satisfactory English language skills
